Supporting Stability During the Summer Months
As summer begins, many families experience shifts in routine, schedules, and financial demands. For some households, this season can also bring additional challenges related to housing stability, utilities, childcare, food access, and transportation.
Community support becomes especially important during times of transition.
At Community Resources Council (CRC), our work continues year-round to help connect individuals and families with resources that support stability and well-being. Through collaboration, advocacy, research, and education, CRC works alongside community partners to help strengthen the systems families rely on every day.
Summer can also be a time for communities to come together:
Checking in on neighbors
Sharing local resources
Supporting community programs
Building partnerships that expand access to services
When organizations and community members work together, support becomes more accessible and communities become more resilient.
As we move into the summer months, CRC remains committed to helping connect resources, partnerships, and people across Topeka and Shawnee County.
Because strong communities are built through ongoing support and connection.
