Community, Safety & Support: What June Means for CRC

As we welcome June, Community Resources Council (CRC) remains focused on the connections that help strengthen our community every day.

Summer often brings new opportunities for families, organizations, and neighborhoods to come together. It can also present challenges related to housing, accessibility, healthcare, financial stability, and community support. Addressing these needs requires collaboration, communication, and a shared commitment to helping one another.

For 100 years, CRC has worked to connect resources throughout Topeka and Shawnee County through Collaboration, Advocacy, Research, and Education. Whether supporting community planning efforts, sharing trusted data, strengthening partnerships, or operating programs like CRC SAFE Homes, our goal remains the same: helping people access the resources they need to thrive.

Throughout June, we'll continue highlighting topics that impact our community, including housing stability, veteran support, family well-being, community engagement, and the importance of strong local partnerships.

Strong communities are built when people work together, support one another, and remain committed to creating opportunities for everyone to succeed.

As we move through the month ahead, CRC remains grateful for the many organizations, volunteers, community leaders, and residents who help make our community stronger every day.

Because meaningful change begins with connection.
