March: Awareness, Advocacy, and Growth

March reminds us that awareness sparks growth — and learning and advocacy help build stronger communities.

Throughout the month, national awareness campaigns highlight topics that affect individuals and families every day — from financial education and health awareness to accessibility and community inclusion.

At Community Resources Council (CRC), many of these conversations align closely with our mission to ensure individuals and families have access to the resources, knowledge, and support systems they need to thrive.

March observances include:

  • 👩 Women’s History Month

  • 🧠 Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

  • 🧩 Brain Injury Awareness Month

  • 🩵 Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month

  • 💛 Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month

  • 🌻 Endometriosis Awareness Month

  • 💳 National Credit Education Month

  • 🥘 National Frozen Food Month

While each awareness campaign highlights a unique issue, they share a common goal: increasing understanding and encouraging action that strengthens communities.

From improving financial confidence to raising awareness about health conditions and accessibility, these conversations help build environments where people feel supported and informed.

At CRC, we believe strong communities are built on:

🏠 Stability
🎤 A voice
💛 Support

Awareness is often the first step toward meaningful change — and change begins with informed communities.
