Nancy Johnson, Executive Director

Nancy is a strong advocate for social service, business and government cooperation.
Nancy serves on a number of committees and initiates throughout Shawnee County. She carries CRC's mission to ensure that the Topeka-Shawnee County community has a planned, coordinated and efficient continuum of health, education, welfare and recreational services dealing effectively with the needs of its entire people.
Nancy brings over 25 years of experience in both the non-profit and business community. Before coming to CRC, Ms. Johnson was the Planning, Marketing & Community Relations Director from 2003 - 2007 with the Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority. |

- MAACLink Administrator for the Topeka and Shawnee County Continuum of Care MAACLink service, a shared client database linking the major emergency aid and homeless service providers in the community.
- Administrative support for the Topeka Shawnee County Emergency Aid Council
- Administrative support for the Topeka Shawnee County Homeless Task Force.

- Developing and editing the Community Resources Council Directory.
- Updating for the Shawnee County Progress Report.
- Special projects, such as the "ToolKit 4 Life" series.
- Administrative support for the Topeka Shawnee County Alcohol & Drug Abuse Advisory Council.
Leah’s education includes Medical Secretary Certification from Kaw Area Technical School and an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Washburn University. Leah has over thirty years of administrative, management and public relations experience. |

Misty Jimerson, MS, Grants and Project Manager

Misty Jimerson is the Grants and Project Manager for the Community Resources Council. She received her Bachelor and Master degrees at Fort Hays State University in PhysicalEducation and Exercise Physiology respectively. Misty has worked in the community, clinical and worksite level of health promotion over her career. On a personal level her hobbies include anything outside; hiking, gardening and star gazing to relaxing in front of the TV with her husband and cat Pounce.
