Computerized Mapping Technology
One of CRC's most requested services is computerized mapping technology,
which is available to identify population, housing and economic characteristics
for 127 distinct areas within Shawnee County. Data and thematic maps depicting
the data can be valuable in planning, outreach and service targeting. This
technology can help you reach persons, families and neighborhoods in greatest
need of intervention.Computerized mapping can also be used to analyze your agency's client data,
creating a computer-generated "pinmap" that can depict actual client
locations. The software can also generate a table of the number of clients per
census tract, per census block group or clients per City Council district. This
can be a valuable tool that enables you to compare actual client data for the
areas identified, and a tool to determine optimal service site locations or to
plan transportation routes.
Desktop Publishing
Getting the word out about your organization or program is essential to its
success. CRC has publishing software than can help generate brochures, flyers,
newsletter, etc.
Mailing Labels
CRC keeps a database with addresses for local social service agencies, and
can provide mailing labels for non-profit agencies who need them for mailings of
brochures, flyers or notices.
